Continuing Dry Brushing

If you ever had a lymphatic drainage massage you know how good you felt afterwards. If not, you might just want to make an appointment with your massage therapist and experience the lightness after such an treatment.

Every skin brushing needs to be followed up with a shower to clean away the debris. Natural soaps are the best. Please avoid those fancy shower gels, shampoos and whatnot. Have you read the labels lately? Chemical concoctions at their best. My motto is: If I can’t pronounce it I don’t want it on my skin or to ingest it.

The skin is a two-way road. What you put on your skin gets into your body. Likewise, what is in your body comes out via the skin. I am really careful with skin care products. Often, the best skin care products are right in your raw kitchen such as an avocado, coconut oil or the moist skin of a peeled cucumber.

Avocado helps to ease dry skin on your heels, organic coconut oil gives your whole body a luxurious, tropical richness, and the peeled cucumber skin feels cooling on your face, especially for us in the south experiencing the 100 degree heat.
